They continued preparing the site for the shed Friday while Steve and Joe (supposedly) went down to Bernalillo to see if they could get some building permits. We haven’t heard if they had any luck but should know more tomorrow.

We’re still keeping an eye on the weather. There’s a 50% chance of precipitation Wednesday, which might slow things down. Especially if it’s time to start pouring concrete. It’s all very interesting. 🙂

Thanks to Mike, tammy, bikehikebabe, Cathy and Rummuser for commenting on last week’s post.

    Rummuser,
    Agreed!

    Mike,
Thank you. Yes, we have the weather, the permit process, the contractor’s schedule/other jobs, etc. Again, we’ll just have to see. Fortunately we’re not just sitting waiting. We have plenty of work of our own to keep us occupied.

    Evan,
    Thank you.

sorry behind with reading…life just threw me a curve-ball or two!

hope that the weather stayed nice and things moved on in a quiet sort of way 🙂

key word in that post… “supposedly!”
what a beautiful site. it will definitely be worth all these trials.
i was just in your enchanted state. went with my brother to
    see his little grandsons.
had a wonderful time. except we seemed not to be on mountain time, but on jacob time. he’s either on the move or
asleep! but it was good for me. i was in a comfy, lazy rut before i went. i came back with a renewed objective to walk and walk, every day. i was walking 4 times a day until my zeke died. just hadn’t had the heart to do it without him. now will change and get back to what i need to do for my health.
love and best luck ever onward for the shed!
    tammy j
